PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Harry is about 6' tall with messy brown hair and green eyes. He wears glasses and is mostly found in casual, plain clothing. His most recognisable feature is a scar in the shape of a lightening bolt on his forehead.
FROM THE HARRY POTTER LEXICON: Harry Potter is the Boy Who Lived, the Chosen One, the hero of the Wizarding world. He grew up with Muggles, and then came to Hogwarts where he faced dangers and terrors beyond his years. He, along with his friends Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley and Neville Longbottom, destroyed Voldemort’s Horcruxes. Harry faced Voldemort at the end of a climactic battle in Hogwarts castle and defeated him.
NOW: After the final battle and subsequent defeat of Voldemort, Harry decided it was time to break free of the Wizarding life for a short time and moved to London for a fresh start. He still kept in touch with all his magical friends (most importantly with Ron, Hermione and the Weasleys), but began to forge himself a new life mostly existing in Muggle London. He started a relationship with ex-Gryffindor Quidditch team mate, Oliver Wood, which lasted approximately two years before they broke up when Oliver decided to take the Captaincy of he England Quidditch squad, which had him busy and strained the relationship. They kept in touch and are still good friends, but Harry hasn’t had a serious relationship since they break up, although there are rumours he is very much hooked up elsewhere...
After arriving in London, Harry joined the Muggle police force, still fired up from the Battle and needing to focus his energy somewhere, and was eventually promoted to Detective and started to work for Scotland Yard. It was at this time that he was approached by the Head of the Magical Law Enforcement Department at the Ministry of Magic and asked if he wanted to join the Auror squad. Harry politely declined but the Ministry weren’t about to give up on him without a fight.
Eventually Harry agreed to make his transition back into the Wizarding world by becoming an undercover member of the Magical Law Enforcement Squad. He became a top secret liaison between Scotland Yard and the Ministry of Magic, though no one but the top dogs in Scotland Yard know he’s a wizard; his detective colleagues have been effectively kept in the dark, save for a few close calls. He continued his work as a detective for the Scotland Yard but used his pull in that position to monitor any potential Dark Wizarding activity in the Muggle world due to more wizards transitioning there in the wake of the final battle. No one but those in the know have been any the wiser to Harry’s moonlighting as both a Wizard and Muggle criminal investigator and he’s still going strong, though personally, he's lonely and wishes there could be more to life than just fighting the evils of the world.
PERSONALITY: Harry’s most prominent personality trait has always been his loyalty. Gryffindor to the core, Harry has a history of recklessly putting himself and others in danger to save another’s life. He often acts before he thinks and this has led to him becoming known for partaking in more unorthodox detective tactics. He mostly lives life with a ‘take each day’ attitude and sometimes finds it hard putting his personal life before his work, which always seems to take a priority. He enjoys having a good laugh and trying new things for that rush he knew since he was eleven that was lost with the defeat of Voldemort. He always puts others before himself, being the sort to give the shirt of his own back if he felt someone needed it. He isn’t in any way materialistic and doesn’t understand the appeal of being that way. Despite being mostly optimistic in life since moving to London, he still occasionally has periods of being sad and lonely, often wondering if he’s going to ever manage to have a loving family of his own one day; something he has wished for his whole life.
